Dave Holloway writes the strategy pages for Slot Tactics. Fifteen-plus years on AU pokies behind him, starting on the floor at Penrith Panthers RSL in 2009, and online once Pragmatic’s tumble engines took over in 2019.
Dave doesn’t play for a living. He’s a punter who keeps a session notebook, runs his stop-loss the way you’d run a budget, and treats the maths as the only honest voice at the table.
The strategy tab on each review is his: numbered playbooks, branches you choose based on what the session is actually doing, and cut-off rules you can apply mid-spin without thinking. No marketing-speak. No winning system being sold on the side. The maths becomes a decision you can take in the room.
He works opposite Mark Henderson, who runs the description desk. Mark keeps the sheet. Dave drags it back onto the floor where the spins actually happen.
