Slot Tactics uses the same maths here that sits behind Dave’s slot strategy pages. The six calculators below are stripped-back, built for A$ bankrolls, and don’t pretend a winning system is out there. Each one takes a few inputs from the spec sheet of whatever slot you’re about to load, and hands back a number you can actually use before setting a stake.
All six are read-only and never store anything you type in. No accounts, no save state, no tracking pixels. Numbers go in, numbers come out.
Slot variance calculator
Standard deviation per A$1 stake, worked out from the slot’s RTP, hit rate and max win. The σ figure this kicks out is what explains why Dave often sets a 200× stake floor in his playbooks. Handy when the producer hasn’t published a variance score and you’re left deriving one from the spec table yourself.

RTP impact calculator
Long-run expected loss in A$ for a chosen RTP tier, stake, and number of spins. Quick lookup for the question “how much extra do I bleed if my casino runs the 94.5% tier instead of the 96.5% one”. The number is rarely small.

Bankroll manager
Punch in the slot’s variance, how long you actually want to be sitting there, and a stop-loss mark you can live with at the end of a bad night. The calculator gives you back a bankroll figure in A$, sized to the bet you’re really going to use, which is also the reason Dave’s playbooks keep landing on a 500× stake floor for bonus-buy titles.
Wagering requirement calculator
Welcome bonus EV per A$. Feed it the bonus size, the wagering multiplier, the max bet rule, and the game contribution, and the calculator returns the expected loss to clear the bonus. Most AU-facing offshore welcome offers come out negative-EV once you actually do the maths; this calculator shows you the gap.

Bonus buy EV calculator
Break-even maths for slot bonus-buy buttons. You give it the buy cost, the published bonus RTP, and the base-game RTP. It hands back the per-buy expected loss and the bankroll floor you’d need to absorb one poor bonus round without it ruining the session. The buy is rarely the better EV choice; this calculator tells you when it is.

Win probability simulator
This one’s a Monte Carlo session model. Pick a slot out of the catalogue, or punch in raw RTP, σ and hit frequency yourself, choose a session bankroll, then let it run 1,000 simulated sessions and look at the spread of end balances. Best use is sanity-checking the stop-loss you’ve picked. When 40 out of every 100 simulated sessions trip your stop-loss before a bonus has even lit up, the stop is too tight for the slot’s variance, and you’ll know to either widen it or move down a bet level.

Tools are not advice
Each calculator gives you a maths answer, never a forecast. Spins are independent draws, and whatever happened a hundred turns ago doesn’t bend what’s about to drop. What these tools are for is sizing the wallet to the variance you’re up against, so a long dry stretch doesn’t bury you. They won’t tell you the next spin pays.
